Really proud to have produce/directed this film for Hope not Hate uncovering the true nastiness of Britain First and sharing a powerful warning to possible supporters and funders. It was great to interview the impressive Harry and Patrik from Hope not Hate, hear about their incredible work, and create a powerful film with their remarkable undercover footage. The brilliant Don McVey filmed and edited the film, and the sound was mixed by David Gritzman at Gramercy Park Studios.
I've worked with Hope not Hate educating about The Battle of Cable Street and my grandfather's work, through campaigning in Barking and Dagenham against the BNP, making the case for EU migrants in the UK, challenging Nigel Farage's rabble rousing and fighting the divisiveness around Brexit. With Trump's win and far-right gains globally I ask anyone reading to get involved with fighting racism, fascism and hate-speech in any way they can.
