Apple TV - Twisted Yoga

Twisted Yoga is a new three-part series from Apple TV that reveals the untold story of the MISA yoga school, the self-professed guru and cult leader, Gregorian Bivolaru. What at first glance seems to be a yoga school turns out to be an organised crime syndicate involved in international sex trafficking.

Pleased to have played a part in this fascinating series for Apple TV as the creative lead for the yogic energy sequences visualising their effects on the contributors, a key element in the storyline, that explained the power the yogic guru had over his congregants. This was achieved with motion-tracked animated projections, video-mapped onto the actors and set.

Great to work with visionary director Rowan Deacon, Kate Bullions and Fish Puxley in production, the graphics wizard Philip Davies and projection legend Salvador Avilla. It takes a village, so there were a ton of other talents involved - actors, film crew, projection support, riggers, etc.
